Mary Ella Rowles

Mary Ella Rowles, 82 of Pleasantville, Ohio passed away at Crestview on Sunday, October 24, 2021. She was born on July 26, 1939, to Howard and Catherine (Winter) Rowles. Mary Ella graduated from Pleasantville, High School in 1957 and from The Ohio State University in 1962 with a Degree in Home Economics Education and a minor in Communications. She worked at the University of Connecticut and Michigan State University in Extension, Newell Company, Future Homemakers of America, WETA TV/FM, Northern Telecom, Inc and Southeastern Business College in Lancaster, OH. She was also a long-time member of Pleasant Grange in Fairfield County. Mary Ella is survived by her brother, Edward (Beverly) Rowles; Nephews and Niece: Ken (Denise) Rowles, Keith (Carolyn) Rowles, Diane (John) Sommers; great nieces and nephew. Mary Ella was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Catherine Rowles.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 at 11AM at the Halteman-Fett and Dyer Funeral Home in Lancaster, Ohio with Pastor Karen Kepner officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Rose Cemetery. Friends may visit on Monday, November 1st, 2021 from 4PM-8PM at the funeral home and 1 hour before the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be given to the charity of your choice.
