She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry V. Dennison; her parents, Dewey and Leona Bixler; brothers, Robert Bixler, Carl (Todd) Bixler, Fred Bixler, and Gary Bixler; and her sisters, Geneva Brady, Josephine Norton, Marilyn Alford, Vivian Foor and infant sisters, Phyllis Bixler and Gwendolyn Bixler.
Marcia is survived by her daughters, Laurie B. Kemp (Brent Williams) and Angela M. Dennison. Her niece, Linda Salyers was by her side for years as her health began it’s decline and walked every step with her. She was lucky enough to be called Grandma by Emilee C. Kemp (Jarrod), Heather M. (Brandon) Henestofel, Branden C. Fosnaugh (Issac), Joey and Caleb Henestofel; and “son”, Keith Kemp.
She loved being called grandma just as much as she loved her flowers. She was always looking forward to the seasons changing so she could begin transforming her yard into the most tranquil flower garden. She could grow anything and everything. She was born with a magic touch, and her gift was gardening.
Marcia graduated from Lancaster High School, Class of 1964. She retired from Hague Water Conditioning in Groveport, Ohio.
As God looks upon his earth, he sees many beautiful flowers, he sees daisies and sunflowers, he sees orchids and lilies, and then he spots the most beautiful ones of all, his roses. Gently plucking his favorite ones to decorate heaven. She will be missed by many, but her life will never be forgotten.
Thank you to the staff at Mt. Carmel East Hospital (ICU) for caring and making her as comfortable as possible.
Dignity Cremation is to take place through the HALTEMAN-FETT & DYER FUNERAL HOME and a Graveside Service will be announced at a later date.
