Karla J. Sharp-Trego

Karla Jaymes Sharp-Trego, 63 of Lancaster passed away on Monday, January 3rd, 2022 at the Fairfield Medical Center. Karla was born in Lancaster, Ohio on August 22nd, 1958 to James Edward and Shirley (Mason) Sharp. She was a loving wife and mother. Karla and her nephew Timmy Mattox always had a special bond. She was very close to her Aunt Judy Thrush and her family was the most important love of her life. Karla was a foster parent for many years and was a Sunday School teacher at the River of Life Church.

Karla is survived by her loving husband, Richard Trego; parents, Pastor James Edward and Shirley Sharp; children, Crissy, Little Rich, and Shirley Jo; sisters, Ginny (Joe) Smathers, Jennifer (Sherman) Dodd. Cyndi Williamson, and Stephanie (Shawn) LeMaster; her brother, Timothy (Julia) Mattox; grandmother, Ginny Mason-Wagner; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Merrick Mason.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 10th, 2022 at 1PM at the River of Life Church (5090 Carnes Rd. Carroll, OH 43112) with Pastor James Edward Sharp officiating. Burial is to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2PM-5PM at the Church; as well as ONE HOUR PRIOR to the services on Monday.
