Barbara J. Poling, 75, of Lancaster, OH died at her home on Sunday, July 17th, 2022 after a long battle with cancer, which she fought so hard. She was born December 31, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence W. and Ester Jean Poling. Barbara was a caring and compassionate person, serving others her whole life. She was an in-house care giver always willing to help out where needed. She will be greatly missed by her brother and sisters, Ellen (Chris) Christian, Don (Diane) Eddleblute, Susan Casey, Jeff Poling and Randy (Debbie) Poling; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends, Kathy and Ken Grubaugh, Lena Simpson, Cindy Andres, Paula Storts and Linda Poling. No public services will be held per Barbara’s wishes. Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral home is handling her wishes. Memorials in Barbara’s name can be made to a cause very dear to her, Fairfield Medical Center Foundation, Cancer Care Fund, 401 N. Ewing St., Lancaster, OH 43130.
