Tony shined the light and love of God with his family, friends, relatives, and everywhere he went. I remember meeting Tony and Teresa at Lancaster Baptist Church during such a beautiful time in our lives—we were both young couples expecting our very first born child. Tony and Teresa were so excited to be expecting their first baby after being married for ten years. Betito was a miracle baby conceived after so many years of faithfulness and loving prayers. Our love and friendship only grew stronger through the years as we gave birth to our babies in December 2003, sat together in church every Sunday, and had brunch together every week after service. We celebrated birthday parties together, watched the Super Bowl together, and even vacationed in Hawaii together. I’ll never forget all the special memories we shared exploring the island together with our babies. Being around Tony was always a good time. He always had his signature smile and knew exactly what to say to make everyone around him happy as well. He left a powerful testimony as a powerful man of God, a wonderful Christian husband and a doting father carved in our hearts. Teresa, eres una mujer ejemplar y como pareja siempre seran una de mis historias favoritas del amor verdadero, un amor con mucha fortaleza, bendecido, y que nunca  se olvida. We miss you, Tony! John 3:16.

I will always remember Tony’s aggressive kisses on my cheek and the hardest hugs ever. Haha. 

Tony Ruiz was a great person. My family knew him for over 30 years. Tony had a great personality. Tony always wanted to help people however he could. Our condolences to the Ruiz family from the Albarran family. 

Tony Ruiz, I can’t begin to write this before I tear up! Thank you for being such a strong rock of faith for my parents in their marriage! We have such a long-standing family history of birthday parties that you and your beautiful family would attend! It was always so nice to greet you, you’d give us all such a warm hug and smile…you’d talk story with my mom and dad and make us laugh and happy…when we were around one another we knew we belonged in family…because at the end of the day we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Related because Christ is our savior! Gone, but never forgotten!!! Thank you always for all the laughter and conversation’s as well as you and your family always being so charismatic and charitable!!! I’m thankful that because of Christ we will see you again..rest easy Brother Tony Ruiz. My sincere condolences to your beautiful wife…and handsome son Betito!!!🥰🦋✝️😘☮️👼

This makes me think of all the time when my Courtney would walk to Tony saying “beast..beast” then Tony would pick her up and dance with her singing, “la la la beast”. Beauty and the beast was Courtney's only movie she would watch. 

Fishing in Ventura was always a lot of fun to know that he would be willing to drive 2 hours for a couple of hours of spending time with his big brother Frankie.

Most of my happier memories as a kid are of us hanging out and getting into situations that makes me wonder how we didn't end in the emergency. Short-tempered and all, I loved the opportunity of being a big brother to Tony. I love my little brother!!
