Roshalle Denise Turner was born November 12, 1975 in Los Angeles California. She was the first born child of Louis and Flora Turner’s union. She came to know the Lord at the young age of 8 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Pastor Ronald Miner.
Brother, Dionas Asad had a very close and loving relationship with his big sister. The Turner family practiced strong family bonds to include older siblings the late Carlton Louis, Rodney Tyrone, Warren Henry, Byron Eugene, and Toi Levine. The family then expanded and Roshalle was a loving sister/mother to Vernon Andre, Kaylyn Denise, Joseph Louis, Angela Rose, and Michael Jacobs.
Roshalle began her professional career following her grandmother Fannie White’s footsteps and at 18 years old became a licensed cosmetologist. She was a skilled hair stylist, barber and manicurist.
Roshalle then went on to enjoy a successful career in customer service specializing in call centers. After many years working in the medical field with Kaiser Permanente, Cedars Sinai and others, she was fortunate to be hired by the State of Caifornia to work with the Department of Motor Vehicals and then transferred to the Highway Patrol as a 911 dispacher.
A fan of travel, Roshalle was always ready to visit friends and family across the country. Known for her warm loving “Kool-Aid smile”, she was a person of many colors, her clothes and her personality. Roshalle was a kid at heart and had a special way with children. She loved “her babies” and could always make them laugh.
She was an amazing cook and very helpful. Roshalle was the person to call if you were ever in need. Many that knew her say she had a loving heart and knew how to make everyone around her feel welcome.
In her final days Roshalle was a member of the prestigious Toastmasters and the Fifth Vice President of the Palmdale Women’s Club. Although she met many of life’s challenges, she now is finally at rest.
