Florence Ann Kupsch, aged 83, passed away on September 17, 2024, in California City, CA. Born on January 27, 1941, in Wilmington, OH, she was affectionately known as Ann by her Family and friends. Ann’s life was marked by deep familial connections and a passion for simple pleasures, including crossword puzzles, the color green, Elvis, country western movies, and shopping. She treasured her years living in Okinawa, Japan, on and off with her dear husband, Ronald, while he served in the U.S. Air Force, creating lasting memories and friendships that enriched her life.
Ann was preceded in death by her father, Carl Edward Smith Sr.; her mother, Lydia Margaret Pierce; her brothers, George Theodore Smith and Paul Howell; her sister, Roberta Anders; her beloved husband, Ronald Ray Kupsch; and her son, Donald Jay Kupsch.
She leaves behind a profound legacy of love and cherished memories with her surviving family. Her memory will be held dear by her brothers and sisters: Carl Ed (Eva) Smith, Harvey Eugene (Rita) Smith, Wilbur Richard (Deborah) Smith, Carla Rose (Dale) Johnson, Mary Annette (Albert) Peralta, and Joseph Edward (Jamie) Smith. Ann was a devoted mother to Andrea Francis (David, Crystal, Raymond) Kupsch and Ronald Ray (Candace, Joseph) Kupsch Jr. Her joy was multiplied through her several great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly.
A service to celebrate Ann's life will be held at Joshua Memorial, located at 808 E Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535, on October 11th at 9 am. Ann's life was a tapestry of close-knit family ties and joyful pursuits—a narrative of love and dedication that her family and friends will forever remember and celebrate.
