Robert K. Basso "Black Bart"

Robert is survived by his beloved wife Christine Basso for 34 years. Son of the late Katherine Dulligan and Alfred Basso. Father of Jessica LePre-Angelone and Scott Lepre. Brother of Rick Basso

Grandfather of Dante, Madison and Mackenzie Angelone and his great grandfather of Valentina Bilancione

Predeceased by his dear parents and brothers of Al, Larry, William

Robert was born in Staten Island, NY but for the last 17 years has resided in Lakewood, NJ with his wife Christine.

Robert retired from the New York City Fire Department and had many hobbies including; Golfing, Skiing, and art. He even wrote and drew all cartoons for Covington Village and designed patches for FDNY Houses.

He devoted much of his time to his family and to drawing, the most important thing to Robert was his family.

He will be deeply missed and his memory will live on through the ones he loved.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 21st from 2:00 pm- 5:30 pm at D'Elia Funeral Home with a funeral service beginning at 5:30 pm located at 1300 Vermont Ave, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
