Miguel Angel Colon

Miguel was born in Freehold NJ and raised in Lakewood NJ. Miguel Angel Colon (35) passed away peacefully on August 30,2022. Survived by his Beloved wife Melissa Cortes. The cherished son of Vilma Lebron and his late father Jose Miguel Colon. A devoted father of Elijah Miguel Colon and stepchildren: Desiree, Joshua, Josh and Isaac.

His dear brothers: Jose Luis Colon, Jayson, Lebron and Jose Miguel Colon. The grandson of late Felicita Lebron and Pedro Velaquez.

Survived by his Aunts: Nancy, Maria, Elizabeth, Maddie and the late Frances his late uncle Angel.

Survived by his Cousins: Angel, Jeremy, Dennis, Kiomara, Christopher, Jasmine, Mirely, Reinaldo, and the late Albert.

He will be missed by his closest friends, other family members Johnny, James, Jesse and Ernie.

Miguel will be surely missed by his beloved family and friends. Left with the beautiful memories of his warm smile and laughter. His love for cooking and spending time with the people he cared for most.

His Hobbies included fishing, playing baseball, and listening to good music. His sweet soul will forever be in our hearts. He has left a standing impression that will never be forgotten.

Services will be held at D'Elia Funeral Home on Thursday 9/8/22. A viewing will be held from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, With a Service starting at 12:00pm. Miguel will be laid to rest at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood, NJ following the service at 1:00pm.
