Irene Mary Lebeyka, age 91, of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away on Thursday December 6, 2018 at the Harrogate Healthcare Center in Lakewood, NJ. Irene was born March 22, 1927 in Jersey City, NJ. Irene was a longtime resident of North Arlington, NJ with exception to a 15 year period in Dallas, TX. Irene relocated from North Arlington, NJ to Lakewood, NJ six years ago. Irene retired from a career with American Airlines, having served as a meal planning manager for over 40 years. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking zucchini bread. Irene also enjoyed visiting Atlantic City, NJ, and she loved travelling. Sister of the late, Bernard, Anthony, Victor, John, Cecelia and Stella, she is survived by her many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the D'Elia Funeral Home, 1300 Vermont Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
