Georgia Mannino, age 92, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away Monday at the Fountain View Care Center in Lakewood, NJ. Born in Staten Island, she was a longtime resident of New Dorp, Staten Island, NY before moving to Lakewood four years ago. Mrs. Mannino was a former dictaphone operator for Marsh & McLellan in New York, NY for over 25 years. She was an avid reader who loved to travel. She was also a former member of the Order of The Eastern Star in Great Kills, Staten Island, NY.
Wife of the John Mannino and sister of the late Marion MacFarland; she is survived by her daughter Joan Engelhardt (John) of Lakewood, NJ; a grandchild, Lisa Helwig (George) of E. Norwalk, CT; and two great grandchildren, Ryan and Daniel. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the D’Elia Funeral Home, Rte. 70 & Vermont Ave., Lakewood, NJ 08701 with a prayer service to be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd., Staten Island, NY 10304.
