Andrew Sorokach

Andrew Sorokach, 79, passed away July 20, 2016 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus. Mr. Sorokach was born and raised in Pottsville, PA before moving to Paramus, Howell and finally settling in Toms River, NJ. He served in the US Army and was the owner/operator of Sorokach Sales in Howell. Andrew served as the Chief of Southard Fire Department from 1980-1982. Mr. Sorokach was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all. Mr. Sorokach is survived by his children, Sharon Gosack and her husband Glenn and Michael Sorokach, grandchildren, Heather, Kaylin, Kelly, Kassie, Michael and Craig and great granddaughter, Adriana. Arrangements are under the direction of the D’Elia Funeral Home 1300 Vermont Ave. Lakewood, NJ 08701. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at 11:30AM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. Interment will take place at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Andrew’s memory to the charity of your choice.
