Mary Cardenas, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024 at the age of 76. Mary was born on March 25, 1948, in Denver Colorado to Joe Perez and Nellie Bonilla. She attended Denver West High School and went on to become a dedicated quality control operator at Rocky Mountain Orthodontics where she excelled in her career.
She was a dedicated and loving mother to her family Bobby Jr. (Anthonie), Paulo, Becka, and Dominic Sr. (Erika) and also a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren Paul Jr., Brianna (Gena), Andrea, Lauren, Dominic Jr., Summer, Autumn, and Makalie, and great grandmother to Camryn June.
She was looking forward to welcoming her first great grandchild and had been eagerly preparing for her arrival. Although she may not be here physically to meet her, her spirit and love will live on in her heart.
Mary had a heart of gold if anyone was ever in need the door was always open. She found true joy while cheering on her granddaughters when they played competitive softball. She rarely missed any games even if they were out of state! She was very adventurous and loved to travel with her love (Bobby).
Mary is survived by her sisters - Lupe and Maryann Lopez. Mary is preceded in death by her sweetheart Bobby and grandson Dominic Cardenas Jr. (Lobers). Her parents - Joe Perez and Nellie Bonilla, Siblings - Toni Armendarez, Josephine Ramirez, Eleanor Gallegos, Jeannie Perez, Phil Perez, Bobby Perez, and Joe Perez Jr.
Mary leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be remembered for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering love to her family.
Mom, we will forever cherish the memories we shared with you and hold them close to our hearts. Your unconditional love will be deeply missed. We will love you always and miss you more than words can express. Rest in peace, knowing that you were truly loved and will never be forgotten. You are finally reunited with your true love.
All who knew and loved her are invited to attend and pay their respects to a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of many.

A celebration of life will be held for Mary at Advantage Runyan Stevenson in Lakewood Colorado on Friday, November 15th at 11:30 AM, with a reception to follow.
