Justine (Tina) Elizabeth Davenport Mauzey Rohrer, 86, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away peacefully on April 2nd, 2024. Born on April 1st, 1938, in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of Justin Davenport and Edna Mae Wagner Davenport.
Tina's life was marked by resilience, love, and a deep commitment to her family and community. She attended South High School in Denver and later worked in various capacities, including as a phone operator, waitress, sales clerk, and devoted homemaker.
A proud native of Colorado, Tina was deeply involved in community organizations such as the Lakewood Jaycees, Foresters, and Faith Mountain Baptist Church. She embraced life with a zest for bowling, dancing, and crocheting beautiful baby outfits, blankets, and dolls.
Above all, Tina's greatest joy came from helping others. Whether it was cooking for her friends at Arvada House apartments or lending a listening ear, she was always there for those in need.
Tina is survived by her six children: Winona, Tina, Justin, Jessie, Jerene, and Jaran; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Randall. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Davenport, her sisters, Jessie Marks and Phyllis Saylor, and her best friend, Betty Brinkley.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Forefront Church, 2112 S. Patton Ct., Denver, CO 80219, on April 27th, from 11 am to 2 pm. Tina's family will place her at Mt. Lindo as a final resting place.
In her passing, Tina leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Love you, Mom!
