Jeffrey, a beautiful soul, was born in Denver Colorado to his grateful parents, Theresa and Terry Lucas. He attended Secrest Elementary, Weber Elementary, Moore Middle School, and Pomona High School. He worked as an electrical energy engineer and controls specialist which displayed his outstanding ability to solve problems and be innovative. He worked his whole life to distinguish himself in his career. He loved life to the fullest through simple pleasures; playing and laughing with his children, building things, and spending time with family. Jeff had nothing but a loving heart for the individuals in his life. He is survived by his four beautiful children who meant the world to him Austin Lucas, Victoria Lucas, Katlyn Lucas and Joshua Lucas. He also is survived by his Grandmother and inspiration in life, Lillian Cairns; his Mother and Stepfather Theresa and Monte Commons; as well as his beautiful little sister Aimee Lucas. He also is survived by a large extended family full of loving and supporting aunts, uncles and cousins. Family, friends and others whose lives Jeffrey touched are invited to celebrate his life on December 30th 2:00pm at Concordia on the Lake Event Center (7967 W. Parkhill Place Littleton, CO 80123). Donations may be made in his name to Jefferson Center for Mental Health or Longmont Humane Society.
