Lisa, Les, Sunshine and family, my sincerest condolences.  Mom and I were just talked about Nina and by chance I found her obituary. I'm so sorry we weren't there to see her off to heaven. She was a great God Mother and honored to have been apart of her life. My first ear piecing will always be a reminder she is and always be a part of me. I hope all are doing well in her absence.  She'll always be in my heart ❤.

Ethel was a great friend. She would call me, and we would stay on the phone for an hour or so laughing sharing and even crying together. She will surely be missed. Love you, Cathy & Dave Rest in peace my friend.

Ethel was my partner James and my neighbor at Maltese cross manor for the last 5 years. Over the time we've lived there we often crossed paths with Ethel. She always had something hilarious to say and we enjoyed seeing her all dressed up in her broncos gear and hearing stories about the lodge, the salon, the goings on of the building, her family, and her bird. We were so saddened by the news, and she will be deeply missed by us. Condolences to her family- you are in our thoughts.

Ethel was a pillar  of the Denver community as well as an active member of the VFW  organization.  She was a kind and gentle soul who befriended all that she came in contact with...she will be missed and she was loved by all...rest in peace my friend.

My sincere deepest sympathy, condolences, thoughts, and prayers goes out to the family.   I first met Ethel at VFW Post 501 three years ago.  Ethel was the most polite, vibrant, inspiring lady you could ever meet.  We would often sit together at the Post and she would tell me stories about her historical and legendary beauty salon.  When she first mentioned her beauty salon to me I was shocked that I was sitting there next to her talking with such a legendary and famous person.  I then reflected back on my previous visit to the Lakewood Historical Center and it dawned on me, I knew exactly what she was talking about her beauty salon.  What I didn’t realize was that was the exact historical building she actually worked in, I thought it was model replicated building.  Ethal was such an adorable, admirable, lovable, and kind-hearted lady.  Every time I visited the Post, she would be sitting there alone by herself on her electric scooter.  Not even the weather would stop her from getting her around, she was such a social person and wanted to be around people.  As I got to know Ethel over the past several years, I would always greet her with a handshake, a hug, and kiss on her cheek.  I would often joked around with her and called her my girlfriend.  Surprisingly to me, she took that seriously and gave me her phone number.  I thought to myself, she is so sweet and is really serious about me being her boyfriend.  Although I never called her, it was her loving jester and thoughtfulness that mattered.  Ethel I want you to know you were loved by everyone, especially me your “boyfriend!”  You will be greatly missed; you are irreplaceable!  I hope you rest peacefully in eternity with your loving husband and other family who have passed on before you.  God has received another Angel.  May you enjoy the peace and tranquility and all that the heavens have to offer along side our Heavenly Father.  Love Richard
