Donalita "Dolly" Schreiner

Donalita “Dolly” Ines Schreiner, age 85, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away March 24, 2024. Born and raised in Trinidad, Colorado, she graduated from Holy Trinity Catholic High School class of 1956. She was one of 48 students in her graduating class. For decades, she was a proud member of the Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

Dolly was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved watching her great grandchildren grow and play. She had a big, bright personality and filled every room she entered. Dolly was well-known as a social butterfly and was a huge Denver Broncos fan. She was surrounded by a large circle of friends, and enjoyed planning and hosting social outings and gatherings. She was an accomplished crafter and decorator who enjoyed creating festive items for every occasion. Some of her greatest memories were made fishing and cooking with family in Grand Lake and Avon, Colorado. Throughout her life she loved her pets. Baby Blue, her cat, was one of her constant companions.

Dolly is survived by her brother Anthony (Josephine); sister-in-law Penny; children Denell (Roland) and Dale (Barb); grandchildren Jaime (Jude), Dylan (Cate), and Cameron; great grandchildren Jevyn, Vega, Riley, and Callen. She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Mary Fedrizzi; siblings Emily, Ethel, Bernadette, and Herb; and twin children Dennis and Dennette. She was aunt to numerous nieces & nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 5th, 2024 at 10:00am at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Runyan-Stevenson. The internment will be held at 12:00pm following the memorial service at Olinger Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery - Crown Hill. There will be a reception beginning at 12:30pm in the same location.
