Margaret Theresa Apodaca, better known as Cindy, 63, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on March 24th, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Joseph Casados and Margaret Martinez, May 20th, 1955, in Kremmling Colorado. Cindy attended North High School in the early 1970’s, and later went on to receive a Cosmetology certificate. She was married to Ronald Apodaca in 1984, and they lived together for 35 years in Denver, Colorado.
Cindy is survived by three sons; Marc Garcia, Kenneth Garcia, and Dominic Saragosa, all of Denver. She is also survived by several grandchildren; Brandon and Andre Garcia, Alaizja, Sierra, and Dominic Saragosa, Danielle, Veronica, Chloe, and Isabella Garcia; one great grandson, Andrew Montoya; and three siblings: Marlene Archuleta and spouse Paul Archuleta, Joe Casados, and Pauline Romero.
Cindy was an artist of many talents. She loved to cut and style hair, do nails, paint, draw, create picture frames, design curtains, play sports, cards, dominoes, horse shoes, you name it, she was game. Her sense of humor is unmeasured. Her love has been endless, and her sacrifice for her family and others is nothing short of amazing. Cindy has always been known for her vigorous strength, her charm, and her commanding personality. She will be greatly missed and shall forever live in our hearts.
A viewing will be available between 9AM-10AM on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019 followed by a funeral mass, at Saint Dominic Catholic Parish, 2905 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80211. A reception will be held at the Filipino Community of Colorado, 1900 Harlan St. Edgewater, CO 80214 from 12PM-4PM, BYOB.
