Bryce Lee Schippers, age 32, who lived in Aurora, Colorado departed peacefully on October 12th, 2024. Lovingly remembered by his father Terry, his mother Jacque, his sister Kortney, his brother-in-law Sean, and his nephew Brooks. He also leaves behind a close-knit extended family including uncles, aunts, cousins, and countless friends who were like family.
Bryce was a sports fanatic, but basketball was his true passion. He played in college and participated in a men's league. His love for snowboarding and the mountains is what brought him to Colorado. When he wasn't on the slopes, you could find him on the golf course with his buddies. Since childhood, he has been a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan.
He was a foodie at heart, and his family's favorite chef. Most importantly, he had a big heart and showed genuine kindness to everyone around him.
The game is over, but his legacy lives on. A true champion forever in our hearts.
A celebration of Bryce's life will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 11:30am - 2pm at Del Frisco Double Eagle Steak House, 8100 East Orchard Road, Denver, Colorado. In a nod to make this celebration feel more tailored to Bryce's personal loves and passion, the family is asking everyone to either wear an item of attire from Bryce's beloved Kansas City Chiefs, or something in his favorite shade, pink. The family will have a Sharing Table and would love for everyone to bring a favorite picture of Bryce to put on this table. Though our sorrow is deep, please bring your favorite memories of Bryce to share. The family's mission for the Celebration is to keep his joyful memory alive.
Donations in Bryce's memory may be made to the Denver Dumb Friends League at ddfl.rallyup.com, or to the Travis Kelce foundation
