It is with great sadness that the family of Maria (Mary) Diaz announces her passing on January 10, 2023, at the age of 88 years. Maria will be lovingly remembered by her husband Nelson V. Diaz of almost 67 years (their wedding day was on January 29, 1956). Also by their children Nelson, Victor and Alex. Maria (Abuela) will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Olivia, Luke and Ryan, as well as her daughter-in law Lauren and her step grandchildren Gracie and Annie. Maria (Sister) was loved very much by her brother Al Lobo and by her sister-in-law Terry Lobo. Maria (Tia Mary) was also cared for by her many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2013, from 5:00-9:00pm at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Maria on Saturday, January 14, at 10:00am at Saint Juliana Catholic Church, 4500 S. Dixie Highway West Palm Beach FL 33405.
