BERTIE MAXWELL Age 71, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, March 6, 2010. She had been a resident of South Florida for 30 years having moved from Kentucky. Before her retirement, Bertie, was a secretary for the Department of Transportation where she had been employed from 1981 until 2005. She loved to read and was an avid NASCAR fan. Survivors include her children, Chaplain James (Susan) Maxwell, William Maxwell, Angie Maxwell and Jerry Maxwell; eight grandchildren; sister, Anne Morgan. The Maxwell family will receive their friends from 4 PM until 5 PM on Friday, March 12 at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will follow at 5 PM.
