Anthony Alves Vieira

ANTHONY ALVES VIEIRA, 85 OF WEST PALM BEACH, FL Passed away March 1, 2022. He was born in Naugatuck, CT to his parents Antonio & Ermina (Alves) Vieira who both preceded him in death. After graduating from Naugatuck High School Class of 1956 he proudly served as a Marine in the United States Marine Corp.

He was married to the love of his life Rose (Dominguez)Vieira for 58 years until she passed away in 2017.

He is survived by their children Anthony Jr., Armand (Maria) and Rose (Michael). Grandchildren Fallon, Tiffany, Arielle, Cassidy, Alyssa and Bobby. Great grandchildren Eryn, Ethan, Elizabeth and Logan. Siblings Maryann, Frankie and Dolores. Preceded in death by siblings Joe, John and Shirley. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews which include special nephew Albert Dominguez.

He worked for the Florida Department of Corrections for over 20 years holding the positions of Lieutenant, Sargent, Captain and Major. He would do anything for his children and especially his grandchildren who he lived for. He missed his wife Rose very much after she passed and now he is at Peace with her again. We were so lucky to have him as a Dad and as a Papa to his grandchildren. He will be forever in our hearts and missed very much.

The family is having a small prayer service at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL March 30, 2022 at 3:00 pm.
