Violet "VI" Elaine Aho

Violet "VI" Elaine Aho, age 91, of Haslett, formerly of Woodland went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2023. She was born on April 28, 1932 in Marquette, Michigan to Henry and Marja Latvala. VI was a devoted wife of Rauli Aho for 67 years until his passing in 2019. She was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Woodland.

Vi will be dearly missed by her children Pamela Kingsbury and Karen Klop; grandchildren Timothy (Erin) Rothfuss, David(Anne) Rothfuss and Alexander (Alicia) Kingsbury; great-grandchildren Audrey, Levi , Cora Rothfuss; many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank Illuminate home health services for the wonderful care they provided for both Rauli and VI. As well as A Family Affair for taking care of VI for the last few years.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11am at the Zion Lutheran Church, 6261 Velte Rd, Woodland, MI. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Rauli in Woodland Memorial Park.

In honor of VI, contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
