James Harold Stephens, age 86, of Lake Odessa, Michigan passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022. James was born February 5, 1936 in Jamestown, Tn to George and Lily (Norris) Stephens. Harold retired from GM in 2001 and enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and taking trips back to Tennessee to visit. He was a big fan of local wrestling and never missed a match.
He will be dearly missed by; children Christine (Bobby) Goodenough, David Stephens, Cathy (Larry) Harshman, Cilena Stephens, Crystal (James Caswell) Gibson, Marie (Gary) Stansell, Kim (Jaraquis Tate) Santiago, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, siblings; Floyd Stephens, Imagene Palmer and Mary Pyle.
Harold was preceded in death by; his parents, wife Dorothy 'Pinky" Gould, son James Stephens, 6 siblings and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Koops Funeral Chapel from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm and 8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 11am at Koops Funeral Chapel with burial taking place immediately following at Woodland Memorial Park, Woodland Township.
