Gary Allen Medler, age 70, of Lake Odessa, Michigan passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. Gary was born on March 31, 1954 to Richard and Patricia Medler. Gary worked for the state of Michigan for many years in many different roles but retired from Dept of Revenue and Reimbursement. Gary was avid golfer both here in Michigan and in Florida.
He leaves behind his wife Lisa, children Jamie Medler, Garret (Cheryl) Medler, Zachary (Brandy) Medler, Robert (Samantha) Boisvert and Stephanie (Mitchell) Chapin, siblings Terry (Larry) Baldwin, Melvin (Jodi) Medler, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding Gary in death are his parents.
According to his wishes cremation will take place and a Celebration of Gary's life will be held on October 27th, 2024 from 11am until 3pm at The Hughe House, 7766 Velte Rd, Lake Odessa MI 48849
Donations to the American Cancer Society in Gary's name would be appreciated.
