Clint was originally from Lake Charles and later made his home in Sulphur. A proud member of the Barbe High School Class of 1992, he went on to serve in the United States Army, Reserves, and Louisiana National Guard. Clint had a deep love for hunting and fishing and was an unwavering supporter of the LSU Tigers. Above all, his heart belonged to his grandchildren, Karter and Lybbie.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 25 years, Dalan Savage; four children, Victoria Breaux and husband Jonathan Hampton, Zachary Savage, Allyson Savage and Mary Savage; three grandchildren, Ellis Miller, Karter Hampton and Lybbie Hampton; sister, Tara Brooke Savage; parents, Walter and Sharon Savage; mother-in law, Mary Francis Breaux and father-in-law, John Deshotel.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley McMahon; paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Savage; and father-in-law, Norris Dale Breaux.
The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will be resumed on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11:00 a.m. led by Hixson Celebrant Jody Tyler. Burial will follow at Grandlake Community Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Savage, Mary Savage, Jonathan Hampton, Johnny Deville, Shannon Labove, Ben Meistrell, led by Karter Hampton.
