Virgie Mae LaBove

She was born in Creole and lived all her life there, until Hurricane Rita. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She retired from the Cameron Parish School Board and she worked for the hospital in Cameron and Hixson Funeral Home in Creole. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her sons, Richard J. LaBove and wife Tammy Rae of Creole; Billy D. LaBove of Creole; daughter, Ellen M. LaBove Arrant and husband Bryan of Creole; five grandchildren, Jamie LaBove, Braids LaBove, Bryce LaBove, Brett LaBove and Rachelle LaBove Manuel, five great grandchildren, Kamren, Aisley, Beaux, Haven, Rylynn and one on the way, three step grandchildren, Brooke, Brandi and Ali Beth and six step great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence D. LaBove; parents, John and Ellen Broussard and brother, Huey Broussard.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 4pm until 8pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall and resume Monday at 8am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be Monday, June 4, 2018 at 11am with a rosary at 10am at the church. Father Babasino Fernandez will officiate.
