Rose Brown, 94, passed from this life on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at her residence. She loved to crochet, work puzzles, and loved to read. She also loved getting to go to the casino.
Left to cherish her memory is a step daughter Sylvia Woods of Albany, Oregon, a nephew Oran Lee O’Quinn of New Iberia, LA, and niece Christal and husband Jamie O’Quinn of New Iberia, LA, and niece April O’Quinn of New Iberia, LA., and an adopted daughter Mary Turner; like a daughter she never had.
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Clyde Brown, parents, Newton and Mary Dailey, and a sister Audrey Reed.
Services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 3:00pm. Visitation will be held the same day on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 12:00pm till the time of service. Burial will take place at Prien Memorial Park following the service.
