Norma Robertson Ward

Norma Robertson Ward, age 94, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 peacefully in her home. Norma was born in Edmonton, Canada and lived in Fort Saskatchewan Canada. She started her working career in 1947 in Fort Saskatchewan at Royal Bank of Canada as a teller then a bookkeeper.

Through a family member and acquaintances, she met her future husband, Chester in 1952 while vacationing in Wyoming. They married at Fort Saskatchewan in 1953, returned to Tioga N. Dakota where she gave birth to 3 sons. In 1963 her husband was transferred to Lake Charles, La. They purchased a home where Norma remained a housewife and loving mother of 3 until her passing.

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Marion Robertson, husband Chester Ward, brother Ken Robertson and grandson Garret Ward. She is survived by her sons; Troy ward, Larry Ward and Blake Ward and wife Kristine, grandchildren; Avery Ward and wife Olivia, Lakeyn Guillory and husband Jared, great grandchildren Leo, Teddy, Clara and Laura, sister Chris Shackelton and brother, William (Bill) Robertson and wife Maureen.

A private burial with close family members will be held at a later date.
