Nina Mae LeBoeuf, 96, passed away on June 5, 2011 in a local hospital. Mrs. LeBoeuf was a native of Grand Chenier and was currently a resident of Grand Lake since Hurricane Ike.
Nina Mae loved gardening, working with flowers, and baking for her family and friends. She was a devoted catholic, member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, and the Ladies Alter Society. As a Cameron Parish resident, Mrs. LeBoeuf was a proud survivor of the three great Hurricanes Audry, Rita, and Ike.
Mrs. LeBoeuf is survived by her son Dale LeBoeuf and wife Debbie, two granddaughters Lyndi and Lexie LeBoeuf, two sisters Bessie Little and Leona Broussard both of Grand Chenier. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Willie (Bill) LeBoeuf and four brothers Frank, Clyde, Lionel, and Charlie Theriot.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 4:00PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Creole with Father Timothy Goodley will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles from 2 PM until 9 PM and will resume on Wednesday from 8 AM until time of service.
