Mary Louise LeDoux

Mary was devoted to her family and her heart was full of love for her family. She was a strong woman who raised four sons and she passed on her courage and love to each generation as they were welcomed into this world. She had a great love of Bingo and could be found in every bingo hall in Lake Charles and the surrounding areas. It was not uncommon to find cheesy romance novels all around her home. Mary was an exceptional conversationalist who never met a stranger and she called many ‘friend’.

Mary is survived by her sons; Joseph (Leasa) LeDoux, Billy (Denise) LeDoux, Alvin (Pam) LeDoux and Robert LeDoux, sisters; Bessie Smith, Bettie Leger and Ethel Trahan, 15 grandchildren, many well-loved great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and friends. She will be loved and missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home Lake Charles. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until service. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
