Mary Carrie Jones

She was born in Ville Platte, LA and resided in Lake Charles for most of her life. She was a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church. She was loved by all who were blessed to be a part of her life. Her family was everything to her.

She is survived by her daughters, Janet Jones of Lake Charles, Debbi Lamendola and husband, Damien of South Carolina; sister, Clerde Wilson of Lake Charles; 5 grandchildren, Krista, Erica, and Kayla Jones, Courtney and Hillary Lamendola; 4 great grandchildren, Aniya, Mikah, Trey, and Madden as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clophas and Adonia Berzas; husband, Horace Jones and 4 siblings. Ms. Jones' family would like to extend a special thanks to Pam and Michelle of Harbor Hospice. Also, Dr. Akbar Khan and Dr. Elizabeth Becnel, the Staff at LCMH and a special thank you to Doug, Jennifer and Mary. A very special thanks to her niece, Mary Toomey.

Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Becky Wilson will officiate. Visitation will begin Saturday at 12 noon and continue til the start of service.
