Camille was the oldest child born to Donald A. and Hope Nell (Morris) Vincent on February 5, 1936. She was a bright and happy child who at age of 2+ years contracted Diphtheria. Due to this childhood illness, she suffered from Autism but did not loose her bright mind. She often passed the time cataloging various things; colors, food, numbers, and birthdays.
Upon meeting her she would open with "what's your birthday?" Of her passtimes, birthdays were her favorite, never forgetting any of the hundreds of dates given to her. Although she had every date locked away in her bright mind, keeping them cataloged in various ways. She was a valued asset to Carolyn when she was tracing her genealogy. To her younger sister she was always the pupil, learning her ABC's and arithmetic on the chalk board upon Carolyn's return from school.
Camille was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, an aunt, Myrtle Morris, an uncle, Carl Morris, and her mothers two older siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Carolyn V. Newlin and husband William, a niece Julye Newlin of Houston, TX.
