Katherine Broussard

Katherine Broussard, age 59, of Westlake, Louisiana passed away on Sunday August 5, 2018 in her home. Katherine was born March 18, 1959. She was very good at cooking and enjoyed it immensely. Katherine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a very forgiving woman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Blane Broussard; mother, Cathy Davis; daughters, Kayla Broussard of Westlake, LA, Jamie Broussard of Lake Charles, LA, Crystal Broussard and husband D.J. of Lake Charles, LA; six grandchildren with two more on the way and one great grandson; brother, Joey Hurst of Dallas, TX; sister, Melissa Lazenby and husband Jerry of Kinder, LA.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Hurst; son, Chase Broussard and brother, Ricky Champion.

Visitation will begin at 4pm until 8pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 and will resume on Thursday at 8am.

Funeral Services will be held at 10am Thursday August 9, 2018 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Lake Charles.
