He was a native and lifelong resident of Lake Charles, La. Dwayne graduated from Washington Marion High School Class of 1988 and then served in the United States Army Gulf War involving Operation Desert Storm and Kuwait. Dwayne was a member of the Christian Faith and was employed by Ultimate Transport as a Truck Driver. He drove trucks for over 27 years. Dwayne loved taking charge in situations, speaking about the Lord, Saturday college football and spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Joseph and Paula Thibodeaux.
Dwayne is survived by his Wife of 22 Years, Nichole Jordan Thibodeaux of Lake Charles, La., Sons, Dwayne Thibodeaux II of San Diego, Ca., Lance Thibodeaux of Bowling Green, Ky., Nicholas Thibodeaux of Lake Charles, La., ,Daughters, Shaniquia Coleman of Lake Charles, Arneeshia Coleman of Lake Charles, La., Kennedy Thibodeaux of Lake Charles, La., Brothers, Ronie Semien of Lake Charles, La., Joseph Edward Thibodeaux, Jr. of Stafford, Va., Sisters, Cindy Hudson of Iowa, La., Charlotte Biagas of Lake Charles, La., Sharon Pappillion of Lake Charles, La., Paula Thibodeaux of New Orleans, La. and Grandchildren, Angelina Dawn Coleman, Emanuel Coleman and Khalia Withers.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 9:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel, Lake Charles, La., officiated by Pastor Norman Thomas. Cremation is entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home, Lake Charles, La.
