Charles Henry Hambrick

Charles H. Hambrick, age 83, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday June 12, 2018. Charles was born June 26, 1934 to Carroll Edward Hambrick and Emma Jearl Leaptrop Hambrick. He joined the United States Air Force in 1955 and served proudly for his country. Charles retired from Alcoa Aluminum as a welder by trade. He loved to dance, attend football and baseball games. He was a very determined individual and had an incredible memory.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles Michael Hambrick; daughters Joanna Hambrick, and Elaine Miller; brother, Carroll Hambrick Jr.; sister, Lawanda Hambrick.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Gregory Lenn Hambrick and wife Donna, Richard Bertrand and wife Carol, Darrell Bertrand and wife Patsy, all of Lake Charles, LA, and Don Bertrand and wife Sue of Gaydan, LA; daughter, Donna Bertrand of Houston TX; brother, Alfred Hambrick and wife of Florida; sisters, Geraldine Pierce of Houston, TX, Jewel Hambrick of California,and Glenda McCauley of Orange, TX.; twenty grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles Sunday, June 17, 2018 from the hours of 3pm-9pm and will resume Monday at 8am.

Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 10am
