Brandi Michelle Young

Brandi was a native of Westlake and resident of Lake Charles. She was an amazing and loving mother to her two boys. Brandi will always be remembered as a person to lend a hand to anyone at anytime and was willing to do it with the brightest smile. She had a huge heart, loved big and never met a stranger.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Bryce Young and companion Crystal Gamez and Reece Young; sister, Kari Young; parents, Ray Young and wife Pam and Renee Young; paternal grandmother, Earline Young; maternal grandmother, Cathy Hancock; aunts, Lynn Doucet and husband Jason and Cindy Tauzin and husband Mitch; and numerous cousins.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, ElRay Young; maternal grandparents, Roddy Hancock and Joyce Jemison; aunt, Beverly Caldwell Fontenot; uncle, Ricky Caldwell.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and will resume on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. until the time of services. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be immediately following at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
