Barbara Dean Blackburn, age 78, of Westlake, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer Blackburn, her parents Fahey Hooper and Lovina Bertrand Hooper, and siblings; Clara, Tommy, Kenneth

Those left to cherish her memories are her sister Linda Hooper Grimes, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to staff at High Hope Care Center and Amedisys Hospice , as well as her sister, Linda, and nieces, Darla and Angie, who cared for her during the past few months

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Prien Memorial Park Cemetery.
