Well my sweet sister, it's almost a year now that you have been gone. I finally came and told you good bye on Christmas Eve. As I pulled up the tears just ran I had a hard time getting out of the car and I had an even harder time telling you good bye because that's not at all what I wanted to do. You were my 1st and last stop when I came to town. You are always on my mind I love you so much and miss you like crazy. I'm doing my best to keep an eye on your girls for you without them really knowing. I know you would do the same for me. I love you Sherri we were so close like sisters but much more. We were supposed to grow old together and fight each other all the time like we always did. I wish you were here!

My Dearest Sherri,

Words cannot even express the sadness I feel and the difficult time I am having trying to face the reality that you are really gone. We had many great memories together when we were kids. We would get into it like we were sisters and then cry when we could not see each other. We boohoo'd terribly together the day you all left California and moved to Kentucky. I am so grateful that I got to see you and spend some time with you on your last visit to Texas. It was like time stood still for us and we took off right where we left off. I'm sorry I did not let you play with my doll when we were kids, as you so happily reminded me...and I know you feel bad for not sharing your daisy-duke shorts with me. You became the most amazing woman Sherri!  A Mother, friend, someone who cared deeply for her family and would fight to the end for what mattered most to you. Mostly you were always of service to those around you. You gave your time to those who needed you. And from what I have read, always with a smile! Prayers for those that were left behind. I pray for comfort and happy memories to flood over the tears. I know you are in Heaven with the Lord and those who love you. And if you had anything to do with it, I'm sure you are decked out in an amazing leopard print outfit!

Sherri, I am going to miss you so much. You were like a sister. One day best of friends the next day we were fighting. I'm sorry I can't make it to your funeral I just can't tell you goodbye it breaks my heart to know you are gone. I will always remember all the good times we had. I promise I will never forget you. 
Heavenly Father I ask that you please be with Sherri's daughters and parents at this time that you watch over them and keep them wrapped in your arms to comforted them at this time. God blesses the world with Angels of mercy. Sherri will be missed by those of us that have witnessed her kindness,  compassion and hard work.

Our  thoughts and prayers go out to Sherri's family. She showed love and gave great care for my mother Dorothy Sydnor. Her last visit was Monday afternoon and they always told each other that they loved each other before she left. She was like a part of our family and treated our mom as family. To her family I want  you to always remember that she provided great care and love to people  you may never meet, and it showed she loved her job.

Sherri brought so much happiness to my mother, she was a "special" caregiver for the senior population. She was always smiling and went above & beyond. Will miss your smiling face and caring heart.

Our hearts are broken with the loss of our beautiful niece. Sherri had such a wonderful warm heart that had so much empathy for everyone. 
Her smile was contagious.
We will always be grateful and treasure the time we had with Sherri in 2012 when she visited for Thanksgiving in Texas.  
My prayers are with her 3 beautiful daughters Crystal, Brittney and Allison who Sherri loved so much.

Out of all the people around here, it had to be YOU.  I'm angry about this. I'm also so upset for your girls, your Mom n Dad, Ronnie...I am just shaking my head here.  

Jerry and I aren't taking this well at all.  So I will light a candle for you every time I think of you.  And yes--there WILL be a skull of some sort, as you loved your collection.
