She was born on September 25, 1936 to the late John and Mamie Coe Bennett in Louisville, Kentucky.
Nancy was a member of DeHaven Baptist Church where she participated in the Faith Sunday School Class, attended University of Louisville and retired from Fireman's Fund Insurance Company as an underwriter.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years; Albert Morriss Jr; granddaughter; Cathryn Nicole Morriss, and siblings; Johnny Bennett, Bobby Bennett and Beverly Young.
Left to cherish the memory of Nancy are her sons; Bret Morriss and Albert Morriss III (Andy), 7 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister; Phyllis Rickson (Ray), extended family and friends.
A celebration of Nancy's life will be held at DeHaven Baptist Church, 300 W Main St, LaGrange, KY 40031 on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Noon with a memorial gathering from 10am until the start of the service. A private burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to DeHaven Baptist Church in Nancy's memory.
