He was born to the late Kent Warren and Sara Katherine De Monbrun Jones on June 20, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Jim was a proud United States Army Veteran, retired from Ford Motor Company, and was a member of New Life Church in Louisville.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Anna LaVern Corder Jones; son, James Warren Jones Jr.; and brother, Gary Kent Jones.
Left to cherish the memory of Jim are his son, Matthew Clifford Jones (Marie Elizabeth Partner); grandchildren, James Warren Jones III, Leland Barton Jones, and Samantha Christine Jones; brother, Ronald David Jones (Katherine Bahnman Jones), sister-in-laws, Patsy Beach, Mary Griffith, Earleen Richardson, and Marilyn Jones; extended family and friends.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY 40031 at 2pm with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 4-8pm and Saturday morning from 11 until the start of the service at the funeral home.
