He was born on November 17, 1947 in Bethlehem, Kentucky to the late Harry Dale and Mahala Roberts Smith.
Dale was a Master Welder for the Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service through the Vietnam War. Following his military retirement he worked for Steel Tech in Eminence. Dale loved to fish and hunt, the highlight of his career was being featured in Kentucky Afield in the Fall 2004 magazine edition.
He preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sierra Smith.
Left to cherish the memory of Dale are his wife of 17 years, Cynthia Leah Smith; 4 children, Wesley Smith, Jennifer Smith, Kenny Smith, and Kevin Smith; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Madeline Golden and Butch Smith; extended family and many friends.
A celebration of Harry Dale's life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made in Dale's name to Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services to assist with funeral costs.
