Gladys Jane Shuffitt

Gladys "Jane" Shuffitt of Crestwood, KY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, September 27, 2024. Born on July 27, 1935, to the late Charles and Emma Preston in Nicholasville, KY, Jane was a cherished member of her family and community.

Jane found joy in spending time with her loved ones and her beloved dog, Lucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clem Shuffitt, and her son, Forrest Riley Armstrong.

She is survived by her children, Debbie McKenzie (John), Charles Armstrong (Laurin), and Greg Armstrong (Lisa). Jane will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Lawless Dillon McKenzie (Ashley), Trent Preston McKenzie (Brooke), Chelsea Jane Callis (Trey), Shannon Price, Chris Shuffitt, Eric Shuffitt, and Kaelin Dunn, as well as her great-grandchildren: Annabelle Lawless, Mazie Lynn, Isabella, Carter, Embry, Roy, McKenzie Wernert (Kasey) , Madison, Austin, Peyton, Caleb, and Raelynn.

Jane’s spirit will live on in the hearts of her extended family and friends, who will cherish her memory forever.

A visitation for Gladys will be held Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, Lagrange, KY 40031. A funeral service will start at 12:00 PM with Burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40241.
