Connie Sue Adams

Connie was the beloved wife of John Owen Adams of Crestwood, KY; and her twin daughters, Sharlene Batts (Jim) of Richmond, KY, and Marlene Jones (Michael) of Patriot, IN; and devoted grandmother “Mimi” of Jarrod Van Winkle of Patriot, IN, Evan Van Winkle of Cincinnati, OH, Ian Van Winkle of Florence, KY, Ashley Batts Dilly (John) of Louisville, TN and Landon Montgomery of Richmond, KY; and her much loved sister and brother, Mary Ruth Runyon (Roger Lee) of Grayson, KY and Gary Michael Ball (Jane) of Columbus, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents Landon and Boots Ball, and her brother Mikey Ball (Linda). Her family was blessed to add those loved like family; Pete and Pat Wills, Neil and Magdalena Cantrell, Janelle Speedy and Sarah Serrano.

Connie graduated from Belfry High School in Belfry, KY and studied accounting at Marshal University. Over the years she worked at her grandfather’s store, as a clerk for the post office in Pinsonfork, KY, the school systems in Jefferson and Oldham counties, and then retired after working over 25 years with Weight Watchers. She cared for many children in their home helping them with homework and showing them the love of Christ. Connie was very generous and passionate about helping others and doing missionary work in Honduras over the years.

A memorial gathering for Connie will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, La Grange, Kentucky, followed by a celebration of life at 2:45 PM.
