Carol was born to the late Hazel and Hollie Dean on March 13, 1935, in Kings Mill, Ohio.
She worked for 30+ years at RL Polk as a Data Entry Clerk before finding her true joy of driving for her son, getting to travel numerous places. Carol was a member of Ashland Community Church.
She loved music, traveling to bluegrass music festivals and watching her grandsons Matt and Evan perform. She was an avid deer hunter (bow and rifle), many times outperforming her male hunting partners.
She is preceded in death by her stepmother, Dean Spring, her son, Howard Moore, and siblings, Eric Dean, Daniel Dean, Alec Dean, Clara Gadbury, and Robert (Sonny) Schulker.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Dennis Moore (Nikki) and William Moore; grandsons, Matt Moore, Evan Moore, and Ethan Moore; daughter-in-law, Julie Moore; siblings, Harold Dean (Etta), Thomas Dean, Darrell Dean (Julie), George Dean (Melinda), Billy Dean (Celeste), Frances Tedford, Christine Cole, Vickie Wish, and Audry Kidd (Randy), many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held for Carol at Hensley Cemetery in Owsley County, Kentucky, on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
