He was born to the late Alonzo Cooper and Ethel Head Brown on December 6, 1947 in PeWee Valley, Kentucky.
Alonzo retired from GE after 37 years in quality control. He grew up on a farm and fell in love with the outdoors. Alonzo enjoyed growing his garden; especially his lima beans and tomatoes.
He is preceded in death by his sisters; Emma Jean Houser and Alice Faye Thacker.
Left to cherish the memory of Alonzo are his wife of 52 years; Lynn Crawford Brown, sons; Andy Brown and Matt Brown (Betty Jo), 4 grandchildren; Jordan Brown, Miller Brown, Madden Brown, and Mallory Brown, sister; Mary Ann Morris, extended family and friends.
A celebration of Alonzo's life will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home in LaGrange, KY with burial to follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Centerfield, KY. Visitation will be from 10:30am until the start of the service at the funeral home.
