Teresa Elaine DeLong

Elaine was born October 21, 1959 in LaGrange, GA to the late George Edward Bishop and Barbara June Hamby Bishop. She worked as a Utility Dispatcher for the City of LaGrange for a number of years and was a faithful member of Callaway Baptist Church. Elaine loved her family and especially her grandchildren, which she loved to spend time with. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, John DeLong; sons, Ryan (Lacey) DeLong and Scott (Ashley) DeLong; grandchildren, Callie DeLong, Amelia DeLong, and Cole DeLong; siblings, Charles (Tricia) Bishop, Susan (Ronnie) Barnes, Bobby (Brenda) Bishop, and Lynn (Steve) Morgan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, beloved friend, Mary Kish and several other friends.

A Private Burial was held Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be Sunday, September 12, 2021, 3:00pm at Callaway Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Brooks and Rev. Brad Thompson officiating.
