Jon.... I am very sorry to hear of the too-soon loss of your bride. You both look so happy in the pictures....I am sadden that you two will not be experiencing that happiness together for many more years.   My thoughts and prayers are with you and her family.

I will never forget my sweet next door neighbor, Sheree. She and Jon cleaned off our driveway one snowy day last winter.

There were many of us—the Grandchildren of Alvin Lawrence and Clara Cole Turner.  The oldest was born in 1933, the same year my Daddy (a child of Alvin and Clara Turner) was born. By the time we younger ones came along my Grandparents were Great Grandparents. 
My Uncle Harold and Aunt Barbara had three boys—Mark was born a few weeks before I was; Scott was born the same year my brother was; and the last, but not least, was Tim (at one time, Tim was the last of the Grandchildren). My Aunt Barbara longed for a daughter and, yet, had three boys. Life was good and everyone was healthy.  In September of 1972 my Uncle Harold and Aunt Barbara were given a miracle—the Baby of the Grandchildren—my cousin Sheree or ReeRee as we called her. This little, petite blond headed girl would be the very last of the initial Grandchildren born—a year shy of forty years since the first was born. She was a precious little girl who looked like her beautiful Momma.
The first of us to pass was Rick Musick, the son of our Aunt Inez, in the 1970s—car accident. The “Cousins” mourned Rick's passing very hard and although we were scattered about Georgia,South Carolina and other states we have all remained pretty tight. We call, facebook and visit when we can…the love between us never grows cold. There hasn't been another passing of “the Grandchildren” until now—the Baby, our Ree.
In my mind I know that she is free---free of pain that has plagued her for years. I know that she has been welcomed in Heaven where the Grandparents and many of the Children of our Grandparents now live. 
But my heart is selfish and broken and wishes she were still here. My heart wants a ‘few more minutes” of time that is now gone. Time has now stopped and become a memory. And while I will say aloud, “Fly Free Sheree”, I will always be thinking “I wish you were here”. 
I love you my dear sweet Cousin…God's speed and I'll see you on the other side……

I am at a loss for words my heart is so heavy right now. We have truly lost a wonderful person. My prayers are always with you Jon as well as your family.

Jon, we are totally devistated about hearing of Sheree's passing. We are so sorry for  your loss of such a beautiful wife and person. We are praying for you and your family.

Sheree……the sister I never had.   I cannot express how special she was to my family while we were growing up and now!  My 2 boys that she helped raise in the beginning (my babysitter) loved her!!  Sheree gave me a book for my birthday that she had been reading a while back called “Pathway to a Purpose”.  When you have FAITH, FAMILY AND FRIENDS….these 3 things CAN help lead to a “Pathway to a Purpose”.  She gave such GREAT advice and never judgmental.  We have a friendship that will NEVER be forgotten.

Sheree…….the sister I never had.  She and I have been though some WONDERFUL things together throughout our years growing up and especially when she moved to Atlanta and we worked together!!   I would love to share that throughout my entire life, whenever I needed good, honest advice, I knew I could call on my Sheree.  She would always give me her undivided attention.  She used to make me her homemade chicken noodle soup and take it to my house when I was sick, she wanted to babysit my youngest son his first year of being born so we did not have to put him in daycare, which was BY FAR, the most thoughtful and helpful thing ever!!  She loved both of my boys like they were hers! Those are just a few of the things she did……….

Sheree gave me a book for my birthday that she had been reading a while back called “Pathway to a Purpose”.  She and I have the same faith, both love our families and definitely had a friendship that will NEVER be forgotten.  Faith, Family & Friends.  Having these 3 things helps lead to a: “Pathway to a Purpose”.

We both started in Troup county and graduated at Harris. Sheree was the most beautiful at both schools. Prayers and comfort to the Shelton family.

We are only on this earth for a short time and Sheree made such an impact on the hearts of many.  Now she is rejoicing with the Lord awaiting our arrival.  God Bless Jon now and comfort him.  Amen!

I dont even know where to begin.. We've talked so much over the last couple of years about our migraines.. What the doctors were doing, what they were trying. Things we would find on the internet that were possibilites. I knew how much pain you were in. Alot of times, I had the same pain. 
God has taken all your pain away now. Go fly with the angels. I am going to miss our talks SO much. I am so grateful we had the time we had. I love you and am going to miss you dearly.

I was in fourth grade with Mark. I am so sorry to hear this. My prayers are with you.

I have known you my whole life and just can't imagine it without you to share laughs and stories. I am so thankful for all the memories we had growing up together in youth and I will miss you terribly. 

My prayers are with Mr. Harold and Mrs. Barbara, as well as her other loved ones, in the coming days and weeks.
