Sheila Alyette Faught

Sheila was born on June 4, 1948 in Valley, AL, daughter of the late EJ Hand and Magdalene Vaughn Nixon. She was a member of Narrow Way Baptist Church and retired from Duracell. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed shopping. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Tanye (David) Colley and Lana (Steve) Murphy; grandchildren, Savanna (Kevin) Merritt, Alex (Hannah) Colley, Brittney (Joseph) Hinton, Cecilia (Blake) Benedict, and Emily (Donnie) Hudgins; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Lana (Johnny) Clary; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at the funeral home. The Celebration of Life Service will be at 3:00pm in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary LaGrange Chapel with Bro. Steve Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the Reed's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
