Rollie Joe "Pete" Bittick Jr.

Mr. Bittick was born September 6, 1929 in Forsyth, GA, son of the late Rollie Joe Bittick, Sr. and Sara Haygood Bittick. He was a member of First Baptist Church on the Square and was the President of Bittick Associates before retiring. Mr. Bittick was a member of the Gridiron Society and the Terry College of Business Board of Directors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Newton Bittick and son, R. “Joe” Bittick, III.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Bittick of LaGrange; children, Newt (Jenny) Bittick of LaGrange, GA, Mark (Karmen) Bittick of Atlanta, GA, Charles Bittick of Birmingham, AL, Saralyn (Moreland) Bell of Atlanta, GA; daughter-in-law, Cherry Bittick of Highlands, NC; 8 grandchildren, Melinda Golden, Caroline Bittick, Lauren Bittick, Allie Bittick, Ansley Bittick, Moreland Bell, Davis Bell, Margot Bittick, and Grace Bittick; two great grandchildren, Walker Allen Golden and Jadarius Young.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at First Baptist Church on the Square with Rev. Cade Farris, Dr. Paul Baxter, and Rev. Paul Blair officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church on the Square.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request contributions be made to First Baptist Church on the Square, Building Fund.
